The organization continues to blaze trails in this area, and offers its expertise to a host of beneficiaries, including recreational divers, commercial divers, the military, and even NASA. The 24 Hours of Sunlight: An endurance race for racers on skis, snowboards, and snowshoes!

On February 23-24, 2008, endurance athletes of all ages and abilities will flock to the Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for the Third Annual 24 Hours of Sunlight. In this race, teams and solo racers compete to see who can hike up the mountain and then ski, board, or snowshoe down the most times in a 24 period. Yes… 24 hours! All day… All night! Solo racer and event founder Mike Marolt joins us to explain this insanity.

The Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center makes wilderness activities and mountain sports available to people of all levels of physical and mental abilities. The Center’s programs include instruction in all manner of activities, including rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and handcycling.
